Krashjapan is no longer just printed on paper! On October 29, 2006, the first Krashjapan Festival took place at café "Womb" in Kojima, Kurashiki City. Works of numerous KJ contributors were displayed. There was live graffiti painting, DJ music, live music performance -- and we even served cheese fondue. Over 400 readers gathered together at this festival, not only from Okayama Prefecture but also from Shikoku, Hiroshima, and even as far as from Kyusyu. We had a marvelous time together on a crystal clear day. In answer to popular demand, the second festival is already scheduled to take place this spring. This time, the theme is “Eco" (as in Ecology). KJ will demonstrate Eco Kurashiki style. Details of this event to appear on our website soon. Be prepared!
